So when I told Chaz I was headed to the gym this morning, he shook his head and laughed at me. When I inquired about his reaction, he told me that if I wanted him to go with me to the gym, I needed to collaborate with him before announcing that I was leaving, instead of just letting him know at the last minute about my plans. I think he was slightly offended and I was slightly surprised. I figured he would let me know if he wanted to go and he apparently was waiting for me to invite him/ask him when he might like to go. Slight communication mishap, apparently.
However, the good news is that because of said communication mishap, we sat down and talked about what we wanted to do--and we came up with a schedule, taking into account which classes we wanted to take, when childcare was available at the gym, etc.
Schedule is as follows:
Mondays--we go to the gym together for water aerobics
Tuesday--Chaz goes to the gym for 30 minute boot camp and I work out at home with the girls
Wednesday--I got to the gym for Steps class, Chaz has the day off
Thursday--we both go to the gym for water aerobics again
Friday--Chaz goes to the gym for 30 minute strength class and I work out at home
Saturday--I go the gym for Versa Ball Toning class, Chaz has the day off
Sunday--day off for both of us
I would just like to say how totally proud I am of my husband. This is a huge step for him and I am behind him all the way! And I must admit that having him work out with me will help keep me on track, so I am also grateful for the support he will be providing me.
Love you babe, you're awesome!!
Oh, and on one final note--because of the above schedule, I will be changing my weigh-in day to Mondays, simply because it will be more convenient.
Until next time....
