Did a ten minute cardio blast workout today, got it off one of the Biggest Loser work-out DVDs. Man, did that suck!!! The problem with doing the type of cardio they have you do in those videos (jumping jacks, ski jacks, jumping rope, etc.) is that they are not meant for women with overlarge breasts and improper support. No joke. My chest muscles hurt worse than anything else, and that's saying something cuz my calves and biceps are burning! Seriously thinking that I am going to have to limit my cardio workouts to the treadmill and/or elliptical until I get some weight off, cuz man, that shit hurts!
On some other notes, we went grocery shopping today--no ice cream, no candy, no chips, no soda!!! We bought fruit, salad fixings and granola bars instead. I did break down and buy a 20oz bottle of diet Dr. Pepper as we left and seriously, it was the best thing I could have done. I took two gulps and was utterly disgusted. It tasted horrible! Got home and grabbed a glass of water instead--so much better!! Didn't even finish the soda. It got chucked straight into the garbage can. :)
Also, I think my stomach may be shrinking. Chaz made pulled pork for lunch today and I always eat my pulled pork sandwiches open-faced with cole slaw on top. Did that today, finished the first half and was totally full. I ate about a third of the second half because I didn't want to waste food, but I couldn't finish it and I was not about to stuff myself and make myself sick. Next time I'll just start with a smaller portion.
Finally, I'd like to give a shout-out to my brother and sister-in-law, Rich and Tammy Robertson. They are starting a "race to 200" seeing who can get down to 200lbs first--and they're blogging about it!! So proud of you guys!!
And now that I've blogged, think I'm gonna hit the treadmill for 20 minutes or so, because ten minutes just does not seem like enough, even if it was torture. Also, I'm hoping it will help me stretch out a bit.
