So, I've done something to jack up my left knee. Not sure what, but every time I walk it feels as if one of the muscles is straining to stretch, so not sure if I twisted my knee or sprained it or some such nuisance. Anyway, the point is I am hesitant to do any type of exercise that will require a good deal of impact because I do not want to screw it up any further. It already hurts enough. Therefore, my workout today consisted simply of me cleaning house, now that my air conditioner is fixed and it was cool enough to do so. Cleaned up Aubrey's room, the living room, vacuumed, did some laundry and started on the kitchen.
Getting up bright and early in the morning to head to the pool and I am definitely ready to get some more exercise in. Will keep an eye on the knee and if it continues to be painful, I may be limited to water exercise until it clears up. With as hot as it is, that's ok by me.
What with not working out the past two days, I have been trying to keep an eye on my diet. My choices are rather limited at the moment, seeing as we need to go grocery shopping, but I made sure I drank plenty of water today and the caffeine withdrawal headache is not nearly as bad today as it was yesterday. :) May be able to kick the soda habit after all.
Staying in the water is good call :) Way to not just give up! Keep at it! You rock!
